This makeup look is perfect for the neutral outfits and cozy cardigans of fall. I love wearing this look with my long cream colored open cardigan, jeans, and boots. This look will spice up any makeup outfit! Others will notice this eye-catching look too!

  1. Apply an eyeshadow primer with your ring finger. Be careful not to tug on your eye because that may cause premature wrinkles.
  2. Apply any gold cream eyeshadow just to the lid.
  3. Using a medium eyeshadow brush pack a light gold color to your lid.
  4. Then, apply a darker gold to your crease using a dense skinny brush.
  5. After, using a smudge brush apply a dark purple to your lower lash line.
  6. Finally, apply your favorite mascara.
  7. If need be use a fan brush to remove any fall out.

Nail TAG!!

Some of you may know the beauty gurus Elle and Blair Fowler. I do follow their website http://www.elleandblair.com/. A while ago Elle posted a tag about nail polishes. I have wanted to do this tag for a while and have finally had time to do it! I hope that you will post me a comment on what your answers are!
  1. What’s your favorite nail polish company?
  2. Glitter or no glitter?
  3. OPI or china glaze or Essie?
  4. When do you start to take off your nail polish?
  5. What’s your favorite color on your nails?
  6. Darks or brights?
  7. What are you wearing on your nails right this moment?
  8. Matte nails—in or out?
  9. French manicures?
  10. Favorite fall color?
My answers are:

  1. OPI and Essie.
  2. No glitter for most of the time. However, I love glitter for special vacations.
  3. OPI and Essie
  4. When it chips. Unfortunately I do play sports so this happens more often than I wish it did.
  5. I love deep purples, golds, and bright hot pink.
  6. Darks but occasionally I love wearing a pop of color, especially on vacations!
  7. I am wearing Concrete Catwalk by China Glaze.
  8. Out, I love shiny nails!
  9. In! I love french manicures, I think they look so sophisticated and polished.
  10. Deep purple, gold, deep green, and grays.
I hope you guys enjoyed this! Please comment if you like this type of post or not!

Fall Fragrances
Every girl wants to smell nice, why not incorporate the season into how you smell! Especially the beautiful scents of fall- such as cinnamon, spices, and the woods. I love fall scents! They are a must in my fragrance collection! I love spicy woodsy scents for fall! I also love having fall scented candles! Fall scents are a must for fall!

Beauteous Boots
Boots in the fall is like butter on toast! It’s a must! There are so many boot sales going on this fall that they are hard to miss! Because of these sales I got to pick up a pair of boots myself! My favorite types of boots in the fall are the Timberland style boot and ankle booties! I also love the infallible Ugg boots and the to the knee leather boot! In addition, in my school fringe boots are totally in! I hope this will inspire you to pick up your own pair!

Cozy Cardigans
In fall all I want to wear is a cardigan. You can wrap up in them in you are cold, belt them to dress up an outfit, or add a peppy flair to your wardrobe. I think that every girl needs a cardigan in her fall wardrobe. They can range from inexpensive brands to couture, so they are perfect for every budget! My favorite places to buy cardigans are TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Forever 21! The cardigans that I love are: collegiate cardigans, long cardigans, and chunky knit cardigans. Also, they are perfect for school, work, and just hanging out! Cardigans are the perfect fall item!

Fall Nail Polishes

Fall nail polishes are a great way to follow the color trends in fall! For example, instead of paying a shirt that is a mustard yellow that will most likely go out of style next season you can buy a nail polish! I also love the interest that nail polishes bring, and you can change them to your mood or I like to change them according to the weather! For fall this year I have been loving golds, burnt oranges, dark grays, deep purples, mustard yellows, and forest greens. Another thing I love is crackle nail polish! I have a gold crackle that I die for! In the beginning of fall I like to put a white or a light color underneath the gold crackle for a super pretty transitioning from summer to fall! Or when it is closer to winter I love darker colors, such as deep purples and blacks, under the gold crackle. If you can only buy one nail polish I would definitely go for the gold crackle! Nail polishes are also really great way to make an outfit pop or add interest!

Fall Trends- Kate's Way #7

The Pop of Purple Look

I love this look! It incorporates the popular jewel tones with the purple but still not being outrageous. I wear this look with a purple burnout tee I got from TJ Maxx. I wear this look to school whenever I wear purple, and I always get compliments on it!

1.         Apply eye primer with ring finger; such as, Urban Decay Primer Potion, 2 Faced Shadow Insurance, E.L.F eye primer etc. Paint Pots work as well.
2.        Then, apply a shimmery light neutral with an eye shadow brush, by packing it on from the eyelashes to the eyebrow. This shadow will act like as a highlighter and a lid color.
3.        After, apply a cool brown to the crease using windshield wiper motions with a skinny dense brush. Focus this on the outer part of your eye.
4.        Apply a white pencil to the inner eye. This will open up your eyes. (This step is optional.)
5.        Next, apply a cool purple with a smudge brush on the lower lashes.
6.        Finally, apply your favorite mascara.
7.        If need be use a fan brush to sweep away fall out.

I hope you enjoy this look!

The Warm Gold Look

This look is so cozy, warm, and inviting. Whenever I wear this look I feel like I am in a cozy cabin, snuggled up with a book across from a fire. This look screams fall. I wear this look so much in the fall!

1. Apply a gold Paint Pot, to the lid with ring finger, make sure to not go above the crease.
2. Next, apply a light red/orange to the inner third of your lid and below the arch of your eyebrow, using an eye shadow brush.
3.  After, apply a gold to the outer two thirds of your eye with an eye shadow brush.
4. Then, apply a burnt orange to the crease with a skinny dense brush using a wind shield wiper motion.
5. Apply a brown eyeliner. Apply a thing line of this just on the outer third of your lash line. This makes your lashes appear thicker, without looking like you have a lot of makeup on, perfect for school.
6. Finally, apply your favorite mascara.
7. If need be use a fan brush to sweep away fall out.

I hope you enjoy this look!

Fall Trends- Kate's Way #5

The Gold Smokey Eye

This look is great for an evening night out with the girls or a Halloween dance. You could also dress this look down for work and school or dress it up for a very fancy, formal event. This look is great for fall events.

1.       Apply a gold Paint Pot, to the lid with ring finger, make sure to not go above the crease.
2.    Next, apply a gold eye shadow to where you just applied the paint pot with an eye shadow brush. This dulls down the brassiness. However, if you like that look, then skip this step.
3.    After, apply a cool brown to the crease with a skinny dense brush, using a windshield wiper motion. Build up the intensity on the outer corner by applying a black color to the outer lid.
4.    Then, apply light shimmery neutral to the very inner corner near your tear duct and below the arch of your brow using a blending brush or an eye shadow brush.
5.     Apply black eyeliner to your upper lid, start at the very inner corner with a thin line and increase the thickness of the line as you work your way further out.
6.    Take the black eye shadow you used before and using a smudge brush, smudge the eye shadow on your upper and lower lashes.
7.     Finish the look with your favorite mascara. You can even spice this up for a night look and add false lashes, or wear it to school and not apply the extra black eye shadow.
8.    If need be use a fan brush to sweep away fall out.

I hope you enjoy this look!

Fall Trends- Kate's Way #4

The Gold Mauve Look

This look is perfect for fall because of its gold color. It is also feminine with the mauve. In addition, this look is great for people who are new to makeup because it does not have many steps and does not require that much product or tools. I use this look on days where I want to be lazy but still want to look put together.

1.      Apply a gold Paint Pot, to the lid with ring finger, make sure to not go above the crease.
2.    Next, apply a gold eye shadow to where you just applied the paint pot with an eye shadow brush. This dulls down the brassiness. However, if you like that look, then skip this step.
3.    After apply a mauve eye shadow to the crease, use windshield wiper motions and a skinny dense brush.
4.    Sweep the mauve down to the outer edge of the lower lashes.
5.     Then, pack onto lower lash line with a smudge brush.
6.    Apply favorite mascara.
7.     If need be use a fan brush to sweep away fall out.

I hope you enjoy this look!

Fall Trends- Kate's Way #2

The Perfect Fall Makeup
Fall means time to go back to school. For school I would want a fresh, simple face with more dramatic, awake eyes and neutral lips. Some fall eye colors that I like are golds, burnt oranges, granite browns, warmer browns, and light shimmery neutrals. In addition, jewel tones such as deep purple are in this fall.  I will do a new look each day for the next five days. Hope you enjoy!
