Trick or No Treat

Most teenagers now a days debate whether to go trick or treating or not. I believe that everyone should trick or treat up until sophomore year. I think kids should have fun! I personally love dressing up! Halloween is like my favorite holiday! I love pretending I am someone else, even if it is just for one night. I think that unless teens have a party to go to or something they definitely should have some fun! I am personally pretty young and I still go trick or treating! Halloween is also a social holiday, that teenagers should participate in. However, I do think that if teenagers start to become a problem and start doing bad thing, I think there should be an age limit. I do hope that Halloween stays as fun as it once was many years ago. Such as, staying up all night and not starting at 5 and ending at 7. Which in my opinion is ridiculous. Trick or Treating should not end before it gets dark! Any ways, I would love to hear your opinion. So... leave it in the comments below!

Halloween

I love Halloween! It is my favorite holiday! I love watching the old Halloween movies and the 13 nights of Halloween! I love the purpose and story behind it! The scary sort of feel just excites me to no end! I love trick or treating with friends and getting candy that I most likely won't finish until Easter! I love vampires, werewolves, and witches! I just love Halloween! I think I will do one more post on Halloween.... hopefully!!!

ShopStyle

I have many websites that I use on an everyday basis for fashion! ShopStyle being the most visited! I love ShopStyle! This website allows you to access any fashion item that you could ever want all by clicking the enter key. You can use the "search box" and look specifically want; you can narrow this search by selected the select brand, store, price, color, size, and whether it is on sale or not. Or you can look at just tops, or dresses, or bottoms, etc. and get a broader selection. In addition to searching for items, you can also remember certain items by selecting them as favorites. You do this by hovering over the item and clicking on the "favorite" next to the heart. You can also create looks so that you can select outfits. Or what I like to do is use the style book (where favorites are put) to put the things that I like and the looks are where I put my absolute favorites. ShopStyle is perfect for birthdays and Christmas too because you have all your favorite clothes, accessories, and jewelery all in one place!
My ShopStyle nickname is Kate H. I hope you guys can visit me and look at the things I like! Also, you can follow people and look at other peoples looks. I follow my mom and cousin. This is great because I can look at things they like and find presents for them and you can suggest them different things by adding a comment. I love this because if you are browsing and you say "Wow! This looks just like Rachel!" you can suggest it to them! I love ShopStyle with all my heart! It works for people with all price ranges and styles. If you love shopping and fashion I think that ShopStyle is definitely for you!

Fall Trends- Kate's Way #7

The Pop of Purple Look

I love this look! It incorporates the popular jewel tones with the purple but still not being outrageous. I wear this look with a purple burnout tee I got from TJ Maxx. I wear this look to school whenever I wear purple, and I always get compliments on it!

1.         Apply eye primer with ring finger; such as, Urban Decay Primer Potion, 2 Faced Shadow Insurance, E.L.F eye primer etc. Paint Pots work as well.
2.        Then, apply a shimmery light neutral with an eye shadow brush, by packing it on from the eyelashes to the eyebrow. This shadow will act like as a highlighter and a lid color.
3.        After, apply a cool brown to the crease using windshield wiper motions with a skinny dense brush. Focus this on the outer part of your eye.
4.        Apply a white pencil to the inner eye. This will open up your eyes. (This step is optional.)
5.        Next, apply a cool purple with a smudge brush on the lower lashes.
6.        Finally, apply your favorite mascara.
7.        If need be use a fan brush to sweep away fall out.

I hope you enjoy this look!

The Warm Gold Look

This look is so cozy, warm, and inviting. Whenever I wear this look I feel like I am in a cozy cabin, snuggled up with a book across from a fire. This look screams fall. I wear this look so much in the fall!

1. Apply a gold Paint Pot, to the lid with ring finger, make sure to not go above the crease.
2. Next, apply a light red/orange to the inner third of your lid and below the arch of your eyebrow, using an eye shadow brush.
3.  After, apply a gold to the outer two thirds of your eye with an eye shadow brush.
4. Then, apply a burnt orange to the crease with a skinny dense brush using a wind shield wiper motion.
5. Apply a brown eyeliner. Apply a thing line of this just on the outer third of your lash line. This makes your lashes appear thicker, without looking like you have a lot of makeup on, perfect for school.
6. Finally, apply your favorite mascara.
7. If need be use a fan brush to sweep away fall out.

I hope you enjoy this look!

Fall Trends- Kate's Way #5

The Gold Smokey Eye

This look is great for an evening night out with the girls or a Halloween dance. You could also dress this look down for work and school or dress it up for a very fancy, formal event. This look is great for fall events.

1.       Apply a gold Paint Pot, to the lid with ring finger, make sure to not go above the crease.
2.    Next, apply a gold eye shadow to where you just applied the paint pot with an eye shadow brush. This dulls down the brassiness. However, if you like that look, then skip this step.
3.    After, apply a cool brown to the crease with a skinny dense brush, using a windshield wiper motion. Build up the intensity on the outer corner by applying a black color to the outer lid.
4.    Then, apply light shimmery neutral to the very inner corner near your tear duct and below the arch of your brow using a blending brush or an eye shadow brush.
5.     Apply black eyeliner to your upper lid, start at the very inner corner with a thin line and increase the thickness of the line as you work your way further out.
6.    Take the black eye shadow you used before and using a smudge brush, smudge the eye shadow on your upper and lower lashes.
7.     Finish the look with your favorite mascara. You can even spice this up for a night look and add false lashes, or wear it to school and not apply the extra black eye shadow.
8.    If need be use a fan brush to sweep away fall out.

I hope you enjoy this look!

Fall Trends- Kate's Way #4

The Gold Mauve Look

This look is perfect for fall because of its gold color. It is also feminine with the mauve. In addition, this look is great for people who are new to makeup because it does not have many steps and does not require that much product or tools. I use this look on days where I want to be lazy but still want to look put together.

1.      Apply a gold Paint Pot, to the lid with ring finger, make sure to not go above the crease.
2.    Next, apply a gold eye shadow to where you just applied the paint pot with an eye shadow brush. This dulls down the brassiness. However, if you like that look, then skip this step.
3.    After apply a mauve eye shadow to the crease, use windshield wiper motions and a skinny dense brush.
4.    Sweep the mauve down to the outer edge of the lower lashes.
5.     Then, pack onto lower lash line with a smudge brush.
6.    Apply favorite mascara.
7.     If need be use a fan brush to sweep away fall out.

I hope you enjoy this look!

Fall Trends- Kate's Way #3

The Everyday Neutral
This look is great for fall, or anytime of the year. It is perfect for an everyday work look or dress it up with a darker crease for night time. It’s also great for a day at school when you don’t have too much time in the morning. In addition, it’s fantastic for people who are easing into makeup, because there are not many steps and it is not too harsh or in your face. I love this look! I wear it almost everyday.

5.     Next, apply your favorite eyeliner on the top only, this eyeliner can be liquid, gel, or pencil. Apply this in a thin line, getting thicker as you near the outside of your eye.
6.    Finally, apply your favorite mascara.
7.     If need be use a fan brush to sweep away fall out.

Hope you enjoyed this look!

Fall Trends- Kate's Way #2

The Perfect Fall Makeup
Fall means time to go back to school. For school I would want a fresh, simple face with more dramatic, awake eyes and neutral lips. Some fall eye colors that I like are golds, burnt oranges, granite browns, warmer browns, and light shimmery neutrals. In addition, jewel tones such as deep purple are in this fall.  I will do a new look each day for the next five days. Hope you enjoy!

The Perfect Everyday Jacket
There are so many jacket options this fall; how can you tell what’s in or out? Well in my opinion I don’t think that you need every piece in your closet to follow the newest trend. I think that you need to have a jacket that fits your personality and the type of person you are. I have some options below that may fit your style.
        (Vintage)

     (Feminine)

Leather
     (classic/rocker)
   (trendy/tough)
